Professional Technique Tips

Rotary Polishers:

Keep the pad moving to avoid overheating small areas.

Check paint temperature frequently — if it’s too hot to touch, stop and let it cool.

Clean pads often with a nylon pad brush or spur when using wool pads.

Orbital Polishers:

Clean foam pads regularly to prevent product build-up.

Replace pads often – 1 clean pad for every 2 panels.

Use moderate pressure and let the abrasives work.

How to Use:

Work on a clean, cool surface in the shade.

Apply a small amount of 3D 510 to a wool or foam pad.

Spread at low speed, then polish at medium speed with steady pressure.

Wipe residue with a clean microfiber.

Follow with 3D 520 Finishing Polish for a perfect gloss.
